April 30, 2023 at the age of 89; Beloved husband of Fayette A. (Ehde) Valone; loving father to AmyLynn Valone, Daniel Valone, Donald Valone, Jr., Michele (Lee) Horschel and Jeffrey (Michelle) Valone; amazing grandfather of Vanessa (Zach) Santora Alling, John III (Lisa) Santora, Emily (Paul) Lukasik and Christopher Valone; adored great-grandfather of Wylder Alling age 2, Madison Knapp age 15, Natalie Knapp age 11 and John Santora IV age 4; caring brother of the late Robert, Richard and Raymond Valone. Donald served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and also a Military Police Officer who served at the Missile Site, Nike Base in Grand Island, NY. He was the second generation owner, operator and the President of Try-Lock Roofing Company. The family will be present on Friday, May 5th from 5 to 8 PM at the (Harris Hill Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8440 Main Street, Clarence 14221. Family and friends are invited to attend a Christian Memorial Service in Celebration of his life on Saturday, May 6th at 11 AM from Harris Hill United Methodist Church, 8495 Main Street, Williamsville, NY. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harris Hill United Methodist Church, the Wounded Warriors Project or the Alzheimer's Association.
