WRIGLEY - Donald K.
Age 79, of Pinehurst, NC, passed away on December 4, 2012 at his home. Born on November 29, 1933 in Williamsburg, NY to the late Kenneth and LeVera Wrigley. He attended Williamsville Senior High School and went on to study at Kings College in New York. Donald was an Insurance Agent/broker for Allstate Insurance Company for many years retiring in 1998. He was an athlete having played pro baseball as well as teaching all sports at schools in Charlotte, NC. Don was a devoted follower of Jesus who followed the principles of Jesus' teachings by building relationships with men throughout the Southeast. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Kenneth W. Wrigley of Buffalo, NY. He is survived by his loving wife Betty O. Sapp; one son, Dr. Jay Wrigley (Cameron) of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Sharon Reilly of Charlotte; one brother, Robert Wrigley (Nancy) of Greeneville, TN and two sisters, Genevieve Michel (Gary) of Buffalo and LaVera Kopacz (Ron) of Buffalo; also survived by nine nieces and nephews, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Cardinal Room at the Carolina Hotel, Pinehurst, NC. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Christian Fellowship, Building Fund, PO Box 5667, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
