Hey Doreen it's been a while boy how time flies still think of you often always remember how I used to sit on my porch and watch you come home from work wave to me all the time come over and sit on the porch with me, you we're a sweetheart you are missed and talked of often you were never forgotten say hi to my daughter Sarah for me I'm sure you guys are up in heaven talking and flying around with your wings.. I'm sure your son is so big by now I hope that your family is doing better I keep them in prayers always.

Haven't been on the page for a while thinking of you always never forgotten you, still talk about you still can't believe you're gone such a young age my daughter Sarah your friend passed away 2009 I lost her May 20th , she now has angel wings like you , Nicholas forty and Sarah got married which was really nice then too you know where teenage sweethearts just sad that he had to lose her she was 29.... It sucks that a mother has to lose their child worse feeling ever.... Miss you fly high in the sky with your wings and know that you're missed everyday sending hugs and kisses I hope your son is well I bet he is so big and so handsome.... Xxxooo

I am just learning about what happened to Doreen now (04/27/18). Although I didn't know her in high school, I am so sorry to hear about this loss. Very sad indeed. I am very happy to have saved the attached picture, with Doreen in it. It just become much more valuable as a piece of history.

Hi Doreen. The girls and I from work think of you often. We all love and miss you so much. Every once in a while when I'm at work, I'll feel alittle tug on my apron strings and I look around and there's no one there, but I know it is you, reminding me that you are thinking of me. I made your favorite cake and took it to work on your birthday. A couple of new girls wondered why I was doing it when you aren't with us anymore. But you are always with us in spirit and we do it in memory of you to show that we have not forgotten you. Some of us still wear your picture on the back of our work badges. Sometimes when something weird happens at work that can't be explained, I swear it's you doing it to keep us thinking you're still here pulling your pranks on us. Remember the straws and cups you used to tie to our apron strings and we'd walk around the diningroom not knowing until someone told us. I really miss that DODO. You were the crazy one. I wonder what kind of pranks you are doing now. I have to go now, but you will always be in my heart. LOVE U & MISS U DODO! Always, Vicki

It has been a while since I have been on here. It will never get easier to face anything! I miss you so much and will never be able to have a friend nearly as spectacular as you. I cant tell anyone the things we could share, Im lost without you. So much has changed yet so much is the same. Your son is taller than I am. he made sure to point that out at his party. I was on the phone with Danielle yesterday and we were reminiscing about the past and out of instinct I thought to ask how are you. I get so mad that your gone some times. I wasted so much time on being angry, I will never forget that. You were so damn crazy, I miss that. All the annoying phone calls. I remember you and your smile, cheese subs, mac & cheese and late nights at gradma's house. We were so young I grew up with you. It has been a long,long time since I have spoken to you or even seen you for that matter. I remember running in to you downtown a few years back and you were still the same girl I knew in Grammer School. Your carefree nature was still there and I was so happy to see you. The news of your passing has definitely made my heart heavy. We were once friends and I will always remember you as a kind,generous, funny, lighthearted girl who lit up a room. Reading these entries touched me, knowing that all the people I once knew, loved you so much and you all remained friends after so many years. You will be missed forever...
I remember walking down Elmwood (which seemed like a journey back then!) to your Grandfather's house and going to Mighty Taco..We took that trip at least twice a week.. :).... Not a day goes by and I'm thinking of you and Angelo, my mind drifts into deep thoughts and I wonder how can it be sometimes I start with baby tears then somehow a little smile appears,
is it true this is you reassuring me...
We talked and you would laugh even when I knew at times you were hurting inside you still seemed to stay strong, you amazed me, I admired this about you.
I have to admit as hard as it may sound I can hear your laughter down in my heart, this will never be taken away from any of us!

doreen i miss you so much and just wanted to say hello and that not a day goes by that i dont think about you. you had the most contagious smile and laugh and sometimes i still hear it throughout the buffet!! we all miss you and know we will be together again some day. to all your family may the holidays bring you joy and happiness... you are all in my thoughts and prayers!

Doreen, I found an old picture of us from a Christmas party. I hope that your family has a wonderful holiday season. I miss your silly little smile and your cheese omlette with no egg hanging off the bread, and your fried potatoes with ketchup and mayo (yuck). I think about you a lot, Doreen, we had a rough start at first, but once we "got" each other, we were fine. Happy Holidays!!

I can't believe it's been a year already. I have never stop thinking about you, you were such a good friend with a big heart and even though we drifted apart as we got older you always managed to pick up the phone to say hi or I always managed to make a surprise visit. I really wish things didn't happen they way they did.
From time to time I would think to myself I haven't talked to Doreen, maybe I should stop by her house and say hi, but then I remember your no longer with us. It almost seems unreal, but I guess what you don't want to believe always seems unreal.
I have a picture of you at the beach (do you remember what you did with that stick that day, haha) sitting on my desk and every time I look at it I just can't fathom why you were taken so soon and from so many people that adored you. You are missed Doreen and I look forward to seeing you again someday. Maybe we will bask in the sun, maybe we will have a few drinks, maybe we will even give old teachers a call, no matter what we do, it will be like old times like always. Love ya Dor.
