In honor of a woman with an ever-present twinkle in her eyes and a mischievous laugh, whose chocolate chip cookies were absolutely legendary, whose smile shined brighter than the sun, who loved as fiercely as she protected all that she loved, and who kept her big, beautiful heart open with compassionate understanding through all of the joys and sorrows in life. Doris M. Heim (nee Hergenroder) was preceded in death by husband Carlton G., and survived by children Jack (Jean) Heim, Carl (Sharon) Heim, Susan (late Larry) Taylor, and Jeff (Diane) Heim, as well as many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church of Swormville,, 6919 Transit Rd. East Amherst, NY on Saturday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements by BRUNNER FUNERAL HOME 716-692-3841. The family requests that memorials be made to Buffalo Hospice.
