Passed away at the age of 101. Beloved wife of the late James W. Sorge, Sr. Dear mother of Frances (Richard) Deegan, James (Debra) Sorge and the late Philip J. Sorge. Loving grandmother of 3 and great- grandmother of 2. Sister of Sam Schillaci and predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters, also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call on Monday from 3-7:00PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park (716) 675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30AM at St. Teresa's Church, 1974 Seneca St., Buffalo, NY 14210. Please assemble at church. Online condolences at www.CANNANFH.com

Deepest condolences to the family. Wow, what a long fantastic life lived. I just bought Mrs. Sorge´s longtime home and I am so thankful to have it now. I will cherish it and take care as I´m sure she would want. Thank you to her family for picking me. Truly grateful and so happy. God bless Dorothy. RIP

My deepest sympathy to Dorothy's family. I was Dorothy's neighbor across the street. I was very fond of her. She was a pleasure to talk to,and such an inspiration to me with all her knowledge and strength she showed. It was just this past December,she was out shoveling her front walk! She will be missed. RIP Dorothy
