of Eden, NY formerly of Alden, NY passed away September 5, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Richard Szrama; dear mother of Susan (Paul) Szymanski and Gary (Shelly) Szrama; loving grandmother of Jill (Richard) Cassara, Jeffrey (Valerie) Szymanski and Lauren (Michael) Gabor; great-grandmother of Everett, Simone and Paloma; step-great-grandmother of Merrick, Emmett and Kinsley; predeceased by three brothers and one sister; also survived by nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's RC Church, Alden, NY on Saturday, September 23rd at 10 AM. Arrangements by the Charles Meyer Funeral Home. Dear Susan, Gary, and family,
Aunt Dor meant the world to us. She was the most kindest, caring, loving , and beautiful woman. I will miss our little chats on the phone. Me calling her or her calling me to check on my family. Every time we go past Alden we think about the great Christmas Eves at her house. Probably the best times of our lives. The kids remember going there!! We loved those special times and so wish we could go back in time. We love you dearly and hope in her honor we can continue our Christmas’ in her honor.
