Wife of the late Norman J. Macdowell; Dearest mother of Bruce Macdowell; Loving "Mom" of Peggy Dziadaszek; Cherished great-grandma of Aiden, Jeremiah, Jr. and Jameson. Dear sister of Paul (Susan), the late Robert and Howard "Bud" (Marge) Webster; Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday 4-7pm at the REDDINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca Street, West Seneca (Same as Hoy Funeral Home) where a service will be held at 7pm Friday. Jane was a long time employee of the Buffalo Board of Education.

Sharing sadness and remembering Jane as the kind, supportive soul that she was as supervisor of school clerical staff in the Buffalo Public School system. She was always so patient, so responsive, so attentive, and so in-tune with what needed to be done and the most efficient way to get things done the right way the first time. Her professionalism, but more importantly her kind, gentle nature is what I will remember most about Jane.

I managed the kitchen fir her n Norm years bac on Abbott rd.She was such a great boss. We got along great! She was so caring & understanding! I wish they never had to close the place! Do to certain circumstances they had too! What ashame! I will never forget get Jane& Norm.or my co.workers there! Great place! Great family..Great people!! Rest in Peace Jane! I will alwsys remember that smile u had!

I hope this finds you and Mark doing well.
Rita and I were very sorry to hear about Jane´s sad passing. I always felt that she and Norm made me feel welcome at family gatherings, which I greatly appreciated. It is sad to think that they´re both gone now. Our deepest condolences to the whole family.
