Of Williamsville, entered into rest on January 8, 2024. Beloved husband of Judith M. (nee Jaworski) Coffey; devoted father of Michael Coffey, Brian (Mary Jo) Coffey, Theodore (Dawn) Coffey, Lisa Coffey, Sara (Raymond) Vasile, and Katherine Coffey; cherished grandfather of Aaron, Amanda, Conor, Courtney, and Alex; great-grandfather of 4; dear brother of James (Mary) Coffey, and the late Mary Rogers, Ellen Riordan, John, David, Patrick, Ethel Forness, Thomas, and Robert; also survived by nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 13th in St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 200 St Gregory Ct, Williamsville, NY 14221 at 8:45 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Buffalo City Mission. Brian was retired from the Buffalo Fire Department, Conrail Railroad and Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) United States Army Reserve. I´m a firm believer that when we lose someone close to us, like a father or mother, they continue to live on through us and give us unbelievable strength. Now with God...My hope is that John, Uncle Brian and the rest of the family are having a reunion. May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this challenging time. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Brian at North High School. Truly a wonderful man! He was a friend of my brother Michael´s, so we always had great stories to share. Good memories of a well respected man. RIP, Brian
