Edward KOEHLER Obituary
Of Irving, NY September 17, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Gail L. (nee Toy) Koehler; loving father of Karen (Douglas) Palmer, Christine (David) Szmanda and Kim Bone; cherished Papa of Cayla and Cassie Bone, Cristopher and Matthew Szmanda and Ryan Smith. Family will be present to receive friends Wednesday from 3-7 PM at the (Hamburg Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5453 Southwestern Blvd. (corner of Rogers Rd., 716-646-5555), where Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10 AM. Interment Lakeside Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Foundation of WNY. Ed served in the US Army for three years, was a member of AMVETS Post #897, worked as a union electrician for 42 years, 17 years at Bethlehem Steel and 25 years at American Brass and was a member of the Local USW. Ed was an avid Bills fan and enjoyed his life in the Sunset Bay community. Share condolences at www.kaczorfunerals.com

I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral today but I had to take my daughter to Cleveland Clinic for her post surgery appointment . I haven't seen you girls in a long time but I did run into your dad recently and he was the same happy go lucky guy with a big smile on his face like he always had. My prayers are with you girls and your families.

Ed was always a very nice man with a great smile. He and my husband Barry were friends and he just recently passed too.I hope they have a card game going on! Sunset Bay will miss him.
