Passed away February 26, 2023, Beloved husband of Deborah (Letki) and the late Sheila (Byrns). Dear father of Dr. Edward P. III "Ned" O'Brien, Hon. Erin (Joey) DeLabio, Shannon O'Brien, Brighid (Thomas) Rosputni, Dr. Brendan (Dr. Marlene) O'Brien, Brian O'Brien, Sheila (Patrick) McManus, Siobhan (Sean-Paul) Maguire and the late Sean O'Brien and late Tara (James) Hill-Hayes. Loving grandfather of many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Brother of Gregory (Patricia) O'Brien, Kevin (Joyce) O'Brien, Molly (late David) Colin and the late Debbie (late James) Dole. Friends may call Thursday from 6-9PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3155 Orchard Park Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:15AM at Queen of Heaven Church. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Buffalo Irish Center and/or the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Restoration Fund. Mr. O'Brien was very active at the Buffalo Irish Center, St. Bonaventure Church and a member of American Legion Post 735. Online condolences at
