Edward Rath Obituary

NYS Supreme Court Judge May 1, 2003, beloved husband of Senator Mary Lou Rath (nee Schmidt); beloved father of Allison R. (Jim) Garvey, Melinda R. (Bruce) Sanderson and Edward A. (Amy) Rath, III; grandfather of Catherine, Sara, Jamison, William, Trent and Louise; beloved son of the late County Executive Edward A. Rath, Sr. and Mildred (nee Gates). The family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (corner of Hopkins) where a Masonic Service will be held on Tuesday at 7:30 PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday from Calvary Episcopal Church, 20 Milton, Williamsville at 5:30 PM. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227 or the Ismailia Temple Travel Fund, Ismailia Temple, 1598 Southwestern Blvd., W. Seneca, NY 14224.
