RUH - Dr. Edward J. Age 91, of Homosassa, FL, passed away January 15, 2017 at the Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL. Edward was born on May 22, 1925 in Buffalo, NY to John and Margaret (Murphy) Ruh. Edward moved to Citrus County 37 years ago from Buffalo, NY. He graduated from Ithaca College and was a retired Doctor of Physical Therapy, a WWII Navy Veteran and a Catholic. In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his son, Bill Ruh and his wife, Jeanne. Edward is survived by his three sons, Edward and his wife, Deborah Ruh, Thomas and his wife, Ruth Ruh and Dennis and his wife, Judith Ruh; two sisters, Bea and her husband, Fran Kohane and Betty Carlin; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Private cremation will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and crematory in Lecanto, FL.
