Edward SOBOLEWSKI Obituary
SOBOLEWSKI - Edward J. Of Alden, NY, May 25, 2019, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Jurek) Sobolewsi for 74 years and nine months; loving father of Mary Ann (John) Jarmuz, Barbara (Clayton) Hoskyns and David Sobolewski; cherished grandfather of Michelle Volker, Sarah (Tim) Hack and Laura Hoskyns; great-grandfather of Emily Volker and Riley Hack; brother of John (Carol) Soblewski and the late Walter (late Dorothy) Sobolewski, William (Mary) Sobolewski, Jane (late Joseph) Nowak and Adele (late Bernard) Kapuza; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, 18 West main St., Corfu, NY Wednesday at 10 AM (please assemble at church). Family will be present at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Tuesday from 3-7 PM. Edward is a WWII Army Veteran and a retired tool and die machinist. He retired in 1982 but continued to work at Adesa Auction until his early 90's for his love of driving. Share your condolences online at meyerfuneralhome.com
