Dear Grandpa, we laid you to rest today. I hope you arrived gracefully in god's arms. I hope Jesus hugged you in the way you hugged us when we were little. I pray that god looked into your blue eyes and seen all the love you had for all of us. In mass today, the bishop told us to find a good quality that you had and to use that quality in our lives. I thought about this, and decided your generous nature was a quality that I wish to emmulate. You gave when there was nothing to give. You loved with no doubts. you shared a lifetime of memories with no regrets. I am proud to be your granddaughter, and I will take that quality and try to use it everyday with my family as you did. I will miss you and In case I didn't say it enough, I will tell you now, I Love you! May god keep you in his loving embrace until I see you again. Tammy

Dear Jennifer, Jackie and Jeremy: I want to let you know that your mother Suzie was not forgotten, in fact, remembered more than ever during this difficult time. I just want you to know along with David and Tammy that your Grandfather always loved you and his heart ached to see you and he prayed for you everyday. I wish for all of you including Alex, Katie, Kristen, Ryan, Nicholas ,Jamie and the babies that you remember your Grandfather as the great man that he was. A man of great kindness and giving, one who was always upbeat and funny and had the best spirit. And most of all, I wish you all will inherit his great strength and dignity and love that he had right until the end.
Love, Aunt Renee
