Age 82, passed away on May 30, 2025. Born on March 19, 1943 in Buffalo, NY, Elizabeth was a cherished member of her community and a loving figure in the lives of her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Augustine Mecca; her sister, Mary (Roy) Phillips; her son, Joseph Mecca (Sandra Marshburn); her grandchildren, Joseph (Anne Continetti) Mecca, Rachelle Mecca, and Ryan Mecca; and her great-grandchildren, Rose and Jane Mecca. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th, from 4-8 PM at Lombardo Funeral Home, located at 4614 Main St, Snyder, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 12th, at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, 10950 Main St, Clarence, NY. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Elizabeth to The Crossroads House, PO Box 403, 11 Liberty St., Batavia, NY 14021.
