Dear Nev & Sue & entire Larson family,

Our hearts were saddened when the news of Erik's "promotion" reached us. We have only pleasant memories of him as a child, over to visit his grandparents,so often there to help out with chores, as we were tenants at the house. Our prayers will remain with you all until we all reach the completion of our faith. May the comfort of God the Holy Spirit be your portion now and forever.

To the Whole Larson Family,

Jodi and I are very saddened to hear about your loss. You will remain continually in our prayers. May God comfort you all during this time. He is soveriegn!

Eric was a great man and is now with the Lord. Take great joy in knowing he is in a much better place, and as much as he loved you all, he wouldn't come back if he could. He is in the presence of God, looking in his face, and comforted be Him even now. AMEN!

I had the pleasure of being one of Erik's best friends throughout our school years and into college. Although we have not been in contact for many years, I know what kind of man he was and can envision the man he became. He will be missed. My sincere condolances to Melissa, and the entire Larson family.

Dear Nevin and Sue;

Sally passed the news of Erik's going home along to me. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you and his family.

I know you can take comfort in the fact that you will see Erik again; when we are all brought together at our Lord's coming, and then we will never have to be separated again.

Thoughtful Regards;

My prayers are with the Larson family. Erik was such a awesome person. He is with the Lord, and he will never be forgotten. I will never forget all those times playing on the swings, waiting for our dads to get done with sound check on Sunday night sings. A great family, my prayers are with you.

one way, one way to Heaven

hold up high your hand

follow, free and forgiven

children of the Lamb

two roads diverged in the middle of my life

i heard the wise man say

i took the one less travelled by

and that's made the difference, every night and every day

so i say one way, one way to Heaven

hold your head up high

one way, free and forgiven

children of the sky

I am sending my deepest sympathy to all of Erik's family. I had the privilege of working with Erik at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. His energetic personality and engaging smile will truly be missed. Erik handled difficult situations with grace and fairness, and I personally feel I learned a great deal from our interactions. I am so grateful for having known him. Most importantly, every time you asked Erik about his wonderful wife and children, the most beautiful smile, filled with joy and pride came over his face. His love an devotion were evident and very inspirational. He will truly be missed.

God Bless my friend.

Erik was one of the first people I met when I started at Roswell. There was no one finer in the entire organization - friendly, knowledeable, helpful, and personable. The world is not a better place today . He will be missed!

Having been awakened from my sleep, and my mind filling with thoughts of Erik and all we had done growing up together I remind myself that God is in control as Erik knew as well.

From when we were young and writing childish love notes to the pastor's daughter, to the many youth group trips filled with pranks, through the time we shared at his future wife's home in Florida, attending a friends wedding, I can only say "Thank You" to God for giving me the example of a true friend, and Godly man.

You will be missed on Earth my friend, but To God be the Glory!
