Flo was my mentor. Her teaching, praise and encouragement helped me to become a confident teacher. Her strong faith in God in the face of adversity has given courage to me and many friends and family members. Her love and friendship have enriched my life. Thank you, Flo!

I am so sorry to hear about Florence's death. She and I taught together at Maryvale U-Crest and I considered her a mentor and a good friend.
I was upset when I was forced to go from 5th grade to 2nd grade until I observed in Florence's class. I watched her lovingly lead her class during a lesson on the coming signs of spring. She gave me the insight that this level could also be enjoyable to teach.
May God bless you in your grief and let memories like this help sustain you.
