Cecilia Whittington Obituary

Whittington, Cecilia Anastacia (Nee Wagner) Of Mukwonago since 1957, was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior on March 19, 2011, at the age of 94. Cecilia was born Feb 21, 1917, in Hancock, MI. Daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Petit) Wagner. Cecilia grew up in Piquamy, MI. She married James Whittington on Aug. 27, 1949 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her sister Marie (Jack) Whitman. Cecilia was a very active and independent person and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Cecilia was a member of St. James Catholic Church, The Christian Women's Club, and the American Legion Auxiliary #375. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 24, at 11 AM, at St. James Catholic Church (830 Hwy NN East, Mukwonago). Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Entombment will be held on Friday, March 25, at 10 AM, at Pinelawn Memorial Park (10700 W. Capitol Dr., Milwaukee). Please meet at the office. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. James Church or the charity of your choice.
