Of Tonawanda, born September 26, 1941, entered into rest on November 7, 2022 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Linda Macpherson; dear brother of Michael (Lucy) Macpherson; devoted father of Elizabeth (David) Briggs, James (Donna) Dilliot, and the late Tracy Ann (late Keith) McGinley; cherished papa of Danielle (John) Gabrielson, Frank (Michell) Macpherson, Alexis Mercer, Alexandra Dilliot, Markisha Briggs, and the late Brandon Michael McGinley; adored great-grandfather of Frank Macpherson, Jr. and Lindsey Keiffer; also survived by many loving family and friends. Red was a great guy. Met him later in his life through his brother Mac while living in Las Vegas. He was visiting Mac and Lucy. Came to our house and sat at our bar and were friends ever since. Was a great story teller. Proud of his work at GM. Although we travelled and moved a lot he stayed in touch with intermittent phone calls. He was very proud of Buffalo! We did not hear from him this Christmas and found out he had passed. We will miss him and his gregarious nature.

Bud and I were teenagers when his family had a summer home at Roat Acres, Angola, NY. "Buddy" was so much fun, always smiling and making everyone around him smile. I left there in 1968 and never saw him again, but I´m so glad he had a good life and a wonderful big family. Rest In Peace, my friend. Kate Kinsey Rood.
