Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (nee Mostek) Suozzi; dearest father of Francesca (late James) Yoviene, Joseph (Maria), Maria (Robert) Dzara, Catherine (David) Smyth, Anne Marie (Thomas) DeBellis, Frank (Christine), and Theresa Suozzi (Barry Watson); loving grandfather of Jim, Laura, Sarah, Jesse, Michael, Benjamin, Shannen, Jenna, Matthew, Michael, Nicole, Phillip, Christopher and three great-grandchildren; former father-in-law of Tina Sgambati; son of the late Angelo and Katherine (nee Fozan) Suozzi; predeceased by his siblings Anthony, Rose, John, Daniel, Nellie, Nancy, Gerry, Nicholas and Mary; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday, April 16th, from 4-6 PM, at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.). Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 950 Losson Rd., at 10 AM. The family regrets to inform that there will be no reception after services. Mr. Suozzi was a veteran with the US Army, graduated as an aeronautical engineer, designed planes for NASA, car salesman for over 35 years, member of Knight of Columbus, led pilgrimages for the sick and invalid to St. Anne de Beaupre in Canada and other shrines for over 50 years and was one of the oldest newspaper boys for the Buffalo News at the age of 78.
