Age 92. Born in Anita, Pa., the family moved to the West side of Buffalo when he was a youngster. Beloved son of the late Anthony and Frances Vitello; devoted husband of 62 years to the late Evelyn (nee Longo) Vitello; dear father of the late Lisa Vitello-Walker and Frankie Vitello; special father-in-law of Suzy Vitello and Dr. Jim (Sherri) Walker; wonderful grandfather of Brent Walker, Sam (Thamires) Vitello, Luke (Diana Cordova Walker) Walker, Maggie (Ayla Terry-Mitchell) Vitello and Jenna (Andrew) Clos; proud great-grandfather of Luca and Nico Vitello, Thomas Vitello, Brendan and Natalie Clos; dearest brother of Leila Dillon; and predeceased by Verna (late Ray) Rasch, Mae (late Tony) Morealli, Phyllis Vitello, Steve (late Frances) Vitello, Margaret Vitello, Anthony (late Margaret) Vitello, and Laura Vitello; brother-in-law of Rose (late Joe) Bochiechio; uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Frank started his career at A&P Supermarket and then went on to work for the Town of Tonawanda Highway Department for many years. Devoted member of St. Timothy's Church, Knights of Columbus and the Order of Alhambra. Frank lived a life filled with faith, family and many dear friends. Family and friends are invited to a prayer service Monday, September 29, 2025 at 10:15 a.m., at the (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2600 Sheridan Dr., at Parker Blvd., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from St. Timothy' Church, 565 East Park Dr., Tonawanda at 11 a.m. Interment to follow Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in memory of Frank to St. Timothy's Church. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com.
