Frederick Eckert Obituary

August 20, 1999, beloved husband of Josephine Gabrys Eckert; devoted father of Patricia James, James (Okpun), Anthony (Julie), Michael (Kathy) Eckert, Linda (Keith) Altman, Raymond and Josette Eckert; loving grandfather of Melissa, Laurie, and Gerald Jr. James, Justin, Kristie and Amy Eckert, Allison and Amanda Altman, Kayla Woodruff, and the late Michelle Eckert; dear great-grandfather of Ashleigh, Aaron, and Kelsey; survived by one sister, four brothers, nieces and nephews. Funeral services at the BUSZKA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2005 Clinton St. (corner S. Ogden), Monday at 9 AM and at St. Bernard Church at 9:30 AM. Mr. Eckert was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of VFW Private Leonard Post Jr., Post No. 6251, Military Order of Cooties Pup Tent No. 54, and a retiree of the US Postal Service. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227. Family present Sunday only 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
