Georgie 'Bojangles', though our hearts are sad that you're no longer physically here with us, thinking of you always brings a smile to my face. You treated all of us rowdy teenagers as your own and we love you for that♡

My fondest memory of George is his quick short staccato laugh-the loud, punctuated "HA" accompanied by that handsome smile! George is so proud of his four children; he lights up when he talks about the grandchildren. He speaks so lovingly of his parents, his siblings; George is all about family. He spoke at great length of his devotion to Christ and he was able to come to the realization that the often tedious work of law enforcement is service to G*d; George's life is an expression of ministry in the service of his Lord and Savior. Please know that George came to realize this and is welcomed home with all the joy he had known despite the suffering he bore with such dignity.
Most Sincerely Yours;
The Reverend Doctor Derek Davis
Chaplain, Hospice Buffalo; retired.
