Worked with George for many years. My best memory of him was when he took in a stray dog from Front Park and spent a great deal of money at the vet to bring it back to health. I am sure the dear Lord will not forget his compassion and that he is with Him now. Rest in peace my dear friend.

We were neighbors of George on Johnson Park for several years. He was a wonderful man, full of fun and laughter. We always enjoyed our time with George and Kitty, drinking wine and having enlightening conversations while listening to great music. Our sincerest condolences to George's family. George will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

I am deeply saddened by the devastating news of George’s passing. The George I knew had a quick wit and offbeat sense of humor. He was a great coach and a trusted friend. He did a phenomenal job of instilling good character and cultivating athletic prowess in his children. I had the privilege and pleasure of coaching his sons with George’s approval, confidence and support. And that was greatly appreciated and sought after because George was such a great person and coach himself.
He will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest in Peace my friend.
