Of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of the late Cecelia R. (nee Zieminski); loving father of Patricia (Marshall) Nowak, late Kathleen (Raymond) Puleo, Michael (Joann) Nowicki, James (Rosemary) Nowicki and Christine (Michael) Pigeon; cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; predeceased by brothers Frank, Stanley, and Leo Nowicki; dearest companion of the late Diana Sekuterski and Betty Wagner; also survived by many nieces and nephews. George was an active parishioner at Resurrection Church that served as an eucharistic minister and an usher. He also volunteered for over 25 years for FeedMore WNY. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday June 13th at 2PM in Resurrection RC Church (Corner of Union and Como Park Blvd) Cheektowaga. Private interment in St Adalberts Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
