Dear Ann, Heather, Melanie, and Mitchell:

I am so very sorry for all of you! My heart goes out to each of you! Jerry loved all of you so much. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for any of you. He was a very special person, husband, dad, brother, son, grandson, uncle and friend to so many people. Take comfort in remembering all the fun and loving moments you spent with him. Hopefully these memories will fill your hearts so that the pain and sadness you must be feeling will ease a tiny, tiny little bit with each remembrance. I will pray to Jesus to give you strength to carry on without him. Always remember that he is right by your side, sending all of you hugs and kisses and blessings from God.

Sincerely,

Diane

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family as you have suffered the greatest loss of all. My hope is that time will be kind and that somehow, someway, all of you are able to continue on ... honoring Jerry ... in all that you are and all that you do. My sympathies (and apologies for not being able to join in the mass) to the extended family. God bless you in this time of great sorrow.

First let me say how sorry I am at Jerry's passing. This is a terrible, terrible loss. My heart is sad for his family. Mitchell plays coach pitch with my son Robert. A child without a dad is just unimaginable. I can't imagine what this family is going through. I am so sorry. My condolences to everyone.

It was wonderful to watch the easygoing relationship Gerry had with each of his kids. He truly seemed to enjoy their company--I'm sure that even if they weren't his kids, he'd have chosen them as friends.

I hope that Heather, Melanie and Mitchell can remember that part of their dad, and carry it with them. They were all very lucky to have a dad like him.
