Geraldin GAWOSKI Obituary
We are sad to announce Geraldine "Gerry" Gawoski passed away April 14th, 2023. She was born in 1937 to Stanley and Mary Wisniewski of Buffalo. Gerry was a long time resident of Grand Island where she loved to entertain and always welcomed family and friends. The piano was her passion and she taught piano for many years in her home. She enjoyed all music from playing spoons with neighbors during parties or seeing a show at Klienhans. Her greatest joy was raising her children, and she was a kind and caring mother. Gerry was pre-deceased by her husband Wallace, and brother Richard Dybas. She is survived by children Michael (Jules), Douglas (Deirdre) and Catherine Gawoski, grandchildren Andrew and Aidan, and dear nieces and nephews. Visitation is Saturday April 22nd, 4-6 PM at the Kaiser Funeral Home, 1950 Whitehaven Rd, Grand Island, with a service following right after at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory can me made to the SPCA of WNY. Share condolences at kaiserfuneral.com.
