Glen WEEKS Obituary
Passed away at his home in West Falls, NY, on February 16, 2021. He was 88 years old. Born on November 9, 1932 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Glen R. Weeks and Genevieve (Oehler) Weeks Schintzius. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Barbara (Windt); eight children and their spouses, Gretchen (Vincent) Brough, Peg Weeks (Mark Gentry), Pat (Sean) McCarthy, Betsy Gorsky, Glen "Butch" (Cindy) Weeks, Jeanne Weeks, Louise Bush, Susan (Jobie) Ramsey; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Comfort Funeral Home, 6469 Olean Rd., South Wales, utilizing face covering and social distancing with calling hours on Friday, February 26, 2021, from 3-6 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 10 AM, at St. Luke's Anglican Chapel (in the First Baptist Church), 591 Porterville Rd., East Aurora. Burial with full military honors will follow in Griffins Mills Cemetery in West Falls. Glen said his only regret in life was starting smoking which led to severe lung disease and ultimately his death. So sorry about you dad, husband, etc. he was my English teacher at Alden hs. I still remember the eat this dish story, where if you didn't want it for dinner, you got it for breakfast, you had it served until you ate it.
