Gloria O'Dea Obituary

Of The Greenpoint in Liverpool, NY, passed away January 14, 2004 in Syracuse, NY. A native of Buffalo, Gloria was a graduate of Sisters School of Nursing and also received her Public Health Certification from St. John's University. She was employed by Onondaga County Health Department and retired from Hutchings Psychiatric Center in 1987. Gloria was a board member for Transitional Living Services. She also enjoyed her Irish Wolfhounds and attending dog shows. Her husband William died in 1993. Surviving are three daughters, Nora (Dan) O'Dea Stevens of Syracuse, Ann (George) Mulligan of Sandy Pond and Ellen O'Dea of San Francisco, CA; two sons, William (Lori) O'Dea of Syracuse and J. Daniel (Julie) O'Dea of Amherst, NY; six grandchildren. Services were in Syracuse in January at Gloria's church St. Therese The Little Flower of Jesus. Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th N. St., Liverpool, NY 13088 or Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
