GRONWALL - Greg Martin
Age 70, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 1, 2022. Greg was born in Tonawanda, NY on April 4, 1952, to John C. and Twila M. (Berger) Gronwall. He went to schools in Tonawanda and graduated class of 1970, and in 1974 graduated from Hope College, Holland, MI. After college, Greg became a Regional Account Sales Manager selling industrial products which brought him to the Greater Cincinnati area. Currently, he was an ACN business owner. Greg ran in many marathons in Western New York. He loved playing golf and on July 13, 1996, he had a hole-in-one on a par-4, an astonishing double eagle. He enjoyed listening to many genres of music and played piano since age eight. Greg volunteered in the community and was a board member at The YES Home and a member of the Bright Area Business Association and the Harrison Chamber of Commerce. He was active with the Cincinnati FunRaisers where he helped to raise funds for local charities. Greg is survived by his brother John Gronwall (Joan Netzel) of Tucker, GA; also surviving are nephew Jeffrey Gronwall (Angela and Anakin) of Columbus, OH and niece Heidi (Gronwall) Dickinson (Michael); great-nephews Chris and Alex of Marysville, OH. On Saturday June 4, at 11 AM a Memorial Service will be held at FITCH -DENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 455 Ridge Avenue, Greendale, Indiana 47025. Greg will be interred at Acacia Park Cemetery, 4215 Tonawanda Creek Road, North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
