Of Kenmore, NY. Devoted daughter of the late Sara "Sally" Scheib & the late Bernie Scheib. "Aunt" of many friends and relatives. Ilene was a devoted mother to her plethora of pets. Ilene was a stellar member of her Synagogue community, and participated in Sisterhood, and enjoyed trips to Israel, and the Catskill Retreats. Graveside services will be held on Sunday September 21, 2025 at Elmlawn Cemetery (Brighton Rd Entrance) at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal shelter. Arrangements by AMHERST MEMORIAL CHAPEL LLC.

Ilene was always upbeat and a pleasure to be around. We had delicious holiday meals at her parent´s and maternal grandmother´s home - Aunt Ida. Great food, and a great spirit.
I will miss her.
