of Cheektowaga, NY entered into rest October 5, 2023; Beloved wife of the late Alvin Schmidt; devoted mother of Charles (LouAnn), Kathleen Campbell, Donald (Natalie), Karen (Linda), David (Marjorie), Richard (Jennifer) Schmidt; cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; dear sister of the late Clara (late Richard) Marchewka; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit The Dietrich Funeral Home, 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst on Sunday, October 8th from 3 – 7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Infant of Prague Church, 921 Cleveland Dr., Cheektowaga on Monday, October 9th at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at church. Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
