Warren F. Schmidt, 82, of Land O' Lakes, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026. He was born October 3, 1943, in Brunswick, Ohio, the youngest of the four children of Carlton and Mary Schmidt. After graduating Midview High School, he went to work for Jamie's Auction and Flea Market in South Amherst, Ohio. He married his sweetheart Beverly Jamie on February 13, 1965, in Amherst, Ohio. With their young sons, Michael and Timothy, the family moved to Land O' Lakes in 1978 and established the Midwest Wholesale furniture company, which they operated for 31 years while becoming deeply involved in their community. They have been longtime supporters of the Land O' Lakes High School girls soccer program, gracious hosts to soccer players from Edinburgh, Scotland, and the University of South Florida, and faithful members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lutz.

Warren's greatest pride came from being a loving, devoted and proud husband, father and "Pops" to his grandsons, Jacob and Tray. Through his faith and dedication, he demonstrated the true value of hard work and family to countless young men and women.

In addition to Beverly, his wife of 61 years, and his sons, grandsons, nieces and nephews, Warren is survived by an abundance of loving friends in Land O' Lakes and beyond. His warmth, humor and grace will be especially missed by the Sprott and Anderson families.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, siblings and stepfather, Charles Stolder.
