James Fuzak Obituary

Fuzak, James R. "Jim"

Of Williamsville, N.Y., age 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville, N.Y., due to natural causes. Born in Buffalo, New York, Jim was a lifelong Western New Yorker. He grew up in Buffalo and attended Kensington High School. Alongside his brother Bob, he co-owned and operated Fuzak Better Meats on Jefferson Avenue, a family business passed down from their father. Jim found great joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a proud supporter of their many activities and rarely missed a game. His enthusiastic "Hoo-Hoo!" cheer was a familiar and welcome sound from the sidelines. He is survived by his sons, James J. Fuzak and Jonathan Fuzak (Tiffany), and grandchildren Jake and Maggie Fuzak; his stepson David Anzalone (Joette) and granddaughters Julia, Jenica, and Kara Anzalone; his sister Donna Brown (Fuzak); and brothers Robert and Glenn Fuzak. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra Fuzak (Anzalone); and his brother Alan Fuzak. A celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday, September 27th, at Jonathan Fuzak's home in Williamsville. Close family and friends are invited to join for drinks and light fare. Jim will be remembered for his warm heart, unwavering loyalty, strong work ethic, and deep love for his family.
