James GLEASON Obituary
Of Hamburg, NY passed peacefully at home January 23, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Penelope "Penny" (nee Fisher) Gleason; dearest father of Jill (John) Kaczor, Debbie Gleason, James III "Bucky" (Sharon) Gleason and Colleen Gleason; father-in-heart of Nathan Bush and Julie (Tedd) Phillips; loving and proud grandfather of Maura, Donny, Jim, Ella, Ashley, Brooke, Nicholas, Jimmy, Marley, Brian, Brady, Myles, Grace, Devlin, Gavin, Kaleesi, Zach, Emma, Ian and Anna; son of the late James and Joan (nee McNamara) Gleason; dear brother of Jack (Maureen), Robert (Cindy), Thomas (Michele), Joan (Vincent) Pupo, Dennis (Karen), William (Linda), Terry, Donald (Heidi), Paul (Elaine) and Michael Gleason; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. The family will be present to receive friends Wednesday from 2-8pm at the (Hamburg Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC. 5453 Southwestern Blvd. (corner of Rogers Rd., 646-5555) where prayers will be said Thursday morning at 8:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Church 9:30. Interment in Lakeside Memorial Cemetery. Jim was a proud Union Electrician and served as President of I.B.E.W. Local #41. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Foundation of WNY. Please share condolences at
