President of Canisius High School from 1989 to 1994, passed away on August 13, 2023. A wake will take place on Thursday, August 17, 1:30 PM to 5 PM in Keenan Commons, Fernandez-Duminuco Hall, Xavier High School, New York City. Prayer service on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 7 PM in the Church of St. Francis Xavier. Funeral Friday, August 18, 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Francis Xavier. My sincere sympathy to the family of Jim Keenan. He was a breath of fresh air to work with at Canisius High School, Buffalo, NY. We were fortunate as a Board to have the Jesuit "fireman" assigned to us as President of CHS, to preserve the integrity of CHS. Another successful assignment completed by Jim's leadership.
