Age 76. Beloved husband of 50 years to Michele (nee Pytlak) Kuchta; devoted father of Jocelyn Kuchta and Joyelle (Chris) Bartlett; loving grandfather of Emmeline, Jameson and Benjamin; dear brother of Maggie (Phil) Achter and the late Carole (late Andy) Anderson; dearest brother-in-law of Evemarie (Dr. James) Schlehr, Michael (Kathy) Pytlak and the late Scott Pytlak; cherished uncle of Dane (Charisse) Anderson, Garth (Dara) Anderson and Mackenzie Pytlak. Family and friends are invited to assemble Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 10 AM to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at the Church of the Annunciation, 7580 Clinton St., Elma, NY 14059. Interment held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation at https://themmrf.org. Jim worked as an Assistant Comptroller of F.N. Burt, a Financial Manager at Century 21 Pytlak, and retired as a Bus Driver for Iroquois Central School District. He enjoyed playing golf and being involved with his family, especially his grandchildren. Over the years, Jim coached girls high school basketball at Cardinal O'Hara and women's basketball at the University of Buffalo and Hilbert College, and was Adjunct business teacher at D'Youville University.
