Dear Mrs. Laughlin, Tim, Mike & Bub,

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Laughlin. Your family was always so generous and gracious in welcoming me into your home. From the trips to Cuddebackville, Sabres games and just summer nights in the Colonial neighborhood, Mr. Laughlin made everyone feel that he was truly happy you were there. Dear Laughlin Family,
I want to express my condolences for the loss of Jim. I had the privilege of bringing Jim on board at the United Way of Central Virginia and he was not only a tremendous benefit to the mission of the organization, more importantly, he was a deeply caring individual who made our work and the community better. I know that I am a better person for knowing him and benefited from his thoughts and ideas.
My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you.
Take care,
Eric Aft

Kathy and boys, our condolences to you on the loss of Jim. I remember the get togethers at your house and working on my basement and patio as some of the many projects that Jim so generously helped his friends and neighbors with. He was a great friend. He will be greatly missed by all. May the passage of time bring you peace.

Dear Kathy and family, I was saddened to hear of your loss and mine with Jim,s passing. My memories go back to the sixties when I met him for the first time. From that point to the present he has been a good friend, client and fellow employee. Some people
are very special and will never be forgotten. Jim is one of them.

Dear Mrs. Laughlin, Tim, Mike, Danny
and families,

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. The memories came back like a flood- all the games and advice from little league to highschool and TOPS. All the places you guys took me- Niagara, Bills and all the food- pizza and drinks (except the hot wings at Jet Port). Mr Laughlin always welcomed me into your home and always had a kind word and friendly smile. His enthusiasm and how he loved and cared about his family continue to serve me as a role model of a loving father. I have so many great memories of growing up on Colonial Drive and so many of them involve your family. He will be greatly missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We love you.

Dear Mrs. Laughlin, Tim, Mike, and Danny,
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad/Husband! I'll never forget ALL the FUN times we had growing up! Our Dads were the BEST of friends and had the BEST of times as did our families! Mr. Laughlin had a way of making a simple evening by the pool or on the backyard skating rink so much fun! I'll always remember the great times we all shared and will continue to keep you all in my prayers! Hopefully you can find some comfort in knowing that he's not suffering anymore. And if there's no Stroh's in heaven, we can all rest assured that there will be some now :) With deepest love, care, and sympathy,
