James, 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, February 21st, sur-rounded by his loved ones. He was born October 23, 1956, in Syracuse, NY to Ronald and Patricia Taylor. He grew up in Syracuse, living there until 1993 when he moved to Buffalo. He began his youth on the southside of Syracuse before his family later moved to Tipperary Hill. He would go on to proudly serve in the United States Marine Corps. Following his years of service in the Marine Corps, he joined General Motors. He would first work in Syracuse and later in Tonawanda, until retirement. He was an avid Buffalo and Syracuse sports fan. He enjoyed his motorcycle group, his vacation home in Clearwater, FL, time spent at his land in Centerville, NY and gatherings with family and friends. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren. He was a loving partner, father, grandfather, brother and son. Jim is survived by his two children, June (Matt) Carbery and Daniel Taylor, his grandchildren (Brevyn, Cullen and Peyton), seven siblings (Paul (Jennifer) Morrison-Taylor, Sue (John) Taylor-Netzband, Mary Taylor (Michael Moncavage), Ann (Gary) McAfee, Eileen Taylor Sheila Taylor (John Sapp) and JoAnn (Lou) Guido), his partner Linda Caudill, beloved nieces and nephews, extended family and countless friends. A celebration of life is planned on April 15,2023, at Coleman's Authentic Irish Pub, 100 S Lowell St, Syracuse, NY from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, open to all who would like to attend.
