James WALKER Obituary

WALKER - James C. December 31, 2012, beloved husband of Marcia Paterniti Cleary-Walker "Mike" and the late Margaret Mandy "Peggy" Walker; loving father of Marc, Amy (Patrick Casey) Walker-Casey and John Walker; grandfather of Branden Casey, Eleanor and Andrew Walker and the late Colin Walker; brother of Jo (late Doug) Bissell; loving uncle of Chip (Sandy) Bissell, Cinda (Wes) Stone, Dan (Becki) Bissell; also survived by special friends Molly, Daniel, Cole and Jace Brinkerhoff, great-nieces and nephews. Jim served in the US Army in Korea. He then worked with American Airlines 37 years both in Buffalo and Dallas, TX. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 PM at the DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst where a Memorial Service will follow at 4:30 PM. Flowers gratefully declined. Dear Family,
Met Jim when he was working for AA in Bflo.
Back then, their was a group of us couples who managed (inspite of the difficult schedules) to get tog. once a month to play cards. Actually we called it the 'anti-card club'. We did more yacking & laughing than playing cards.
He was a fun guy & will be missed.
