GIANCARLO - Jeffrey M. Suddenly March 7, 2016. Dear husband of Lisa (McNeight) Giancarlo; Super Dad of Olivia; son of Jack and Patricia (Keenan) Giancarlo; brother of Dawn (Dan) Guarasci, Debbie (Brent) Halter, Denise (Ray) Fleck and Jack (Bethann) Giancarlo; adopted brother of Karen (Frank) Nelson; son-in-law of Edward and Patsy (Doster); uncle of Tyler, Erich, Emery, Alyssa, Allyson, Paige, Arianna, Cameron, Dylan, Ashlyn, Ian, Jeremy, and Abbey; dear friend of Anmarie Parucki and her children. Friends may call Friday from 2-8 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. (Southtowns Chapel) 3155 Orchard Park Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 9:30AM at St. Mary of the Assumption in Lancaster, NY. (Please assemble at church). In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Camp Good Days and Special Times. Jeff enjoyed fine cigars, good wine, golf, bowling, and spending time with his family. To the entire Family and Friends,
I'm finally able to write this now as I am still devastated by Jeff's loss. My deepest sympathy,thoughts, and prayers are with you all.
Now, over this past week I have been realizing how blessed I have been to have Jeff in my life. We really grew close over the past five to six years. It was great to see him almost 52 weeks a year as he was my bowling partner and in our Golf League. All the guy's loved him and I loved him like a brother.
I will always cherish the great conversations, laughs, and good times we had together.
He was such a great soul and like the priest said, He got off the train ride a little early then most of us, but I know we will be together again someday.
He will always live in our hearts forever.

I just saw Jeff last week at Wegman's with an armful of groceries and a huge smile on his face! I was one of the volunteers when Jeff worked at Cheektowaga YES... He was a kind, caring, spirited man - with the best laugh around! I cannot believe that he is gone. My deepest sympathies to his entire family and to all those who love him. It is an immense loss.

I worked with Jeff at Robert Warner Rehab Center back in the early 90's where we worked with children with disabilities. Jeff had a way of making every kid laugh and feel important. He was a special man and will be greatly missed.

I am sorry for your loss. Jeff was a great man. I met him several times. He did something very dear to my family, He took care of My brother. We appreciate the work he did, He was very good to my brother and my brother enjoyed having Jeff on his staff. He truly cared for my brother and was a very kind man. I am forever grateful to Jeff. After 17 years of friendship, I am at a loss and still so shocked that Jeff is gone. Lisa, you will always be my very close friend. We never lost touch...ever! I remember all the days you and Jeff spent with us and the years of joy that you brought Jeff. His words very recently: Lisa and Olivia are the reason that I am still on this Earth. Olivia is his princess. You have been through so much together, let God take this from you please! Patricia, you may not know me, but we will meet because of Jeff this week. I grew up with the Giancarlo clan on Sprucewood Drive. Jeff was always a sweet and funny guy, even as a kid. He was taken from us all way too young. I was so shocked to hear about Jeff's passing. He was one of my Cheektowaga YES director's back in the 1990's. He was a terrific mentor and friend. He had a kind heart and a great laugh. I will always remember all the activities we did together to serve the community and our camping trips at Camp Turner. RIP Jeff.

Jeff and I worked together for many years. He was always the guy you called in a "crisis" and no matter what there he was to help. we had LOTS of laughs and good times over the years. we lost touch but reconnected over the summer and the last few months we joked about him following me to Tim Hortons in the morning but it gave us a chance to catch up! im so happy we got those chances and happy to have known him.
