My deepest sympathies go out to my cousins for the loss of your husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa Jess. My fondest memories of Jess were when he and Betty (Carol) came to Fort Collins, CO, for a visit in the mid-1990's while both of my folks were still alive.
We all so enjoyed their company and visit. One day Jess, Betty and I drove up Big Thompson Canyon to Estes Park for lunch and we had a wonderful time driving through the mountains. I best remember Jess's wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, gentle laugh, and warm smile.
One night we had so much fun playing the computer game Ricochet on my Mac in the kitchen we stayed up until about 2 am. We all laughed about that the next day. Jess was kind, gentle hearted, and an all-around good sport who didn't always say much but his quick mind was taking it all in. God bless you Jess.
