I have so many fond memories of Jill from high school. Everybody liked her ... because she was so easy to like! She never got rattled during tough softball games -- never got frustrated at her teammates or bad umpire calls, just encouraged all of us to keep going, stay focused, do our best. I also have a hilarious memory of her totally taking charge during a game of Quarters ... she had strong opinions about how the game should be played and she made sure we all knew it! It doesn't surprise me a bit to see that she has had a full and happy life ... I hope her memory is a comfort and inspiration to everyone who knew and loved her.

Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Jill. I had her as a superb student at School 63 early in my career and she was a joy to have in class and on our swim team. Peace to family and friends. Most sincerely, coach Kathleen Garcea

Jill brought joy to the lives of so many of her peers, teachers and coaches at City Honors. No one ever worked harder or gave so much of self when it came to any endeavor. As her teacher and Class Advisor I will always treasure the goodness and kindness of a special student. My sincere condolences to Jill's family and loved ones. Our world has lost one of the truly good ones.

Our hearts are shattered with the loss of our dear Jilly. A space in our souls with forever be vacant without her in our lives. Each of us is a better person for having had even a short time with her and our lasting memories will bring us peace, love, laughter, and direction until we meet again in this universe or the next.
