Sara Waters Obituary

Mrs. Sara Katherine Jenkins Waters, 91, died Friday evening in St. Joseph Hospital in Augusta. The Screven County native was a member of the Sylvania 1st United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was a store manager at Robert G. Howard Jeweler in Sylvania for many years before retiring. He husband, Lavert Waters, preceded her in death. Survivors include: two nieces, Sara Elizabeth Wittschen, Augusta, and Laura Anne Waterman, North Augusta, S.C.; two nephews, David Jay Barnes, Demorest, GA., and Franklin Alton Barnes, Atlanta, three great -nieces, Allyson Lea Barnes, Demorest, Adrienne Elizabeth Wittschen, Augusta, and Hannah Olivia Waterman, North Augusta, and one great -nephew, Jacob Harrison Waterman, North Augusta. Funeral services: Monday, May 17, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sylvania 1st United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating. Burial in the Bascom Cemetery.
