Passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 3, 2025, age 60 after a brave battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Chris Scott; devoted mother of Victoria Velidakis (Antigone) and Christopher Scott; dear sister to Angelo Veanes (Monica Peoples) and Mary Jo (Gerald) Parker; also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends. The family will be present Thursday from 4-7 PM with a Trisagion Service at 6:00 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd.). Family and friends are invited Friday at 10:30 AM to attend a Funeral Liturgy celebrated at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 146 West Utica St., Buffalo, NY 14222. Please assemble at church. Interment to follow in Elmlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jo Ellen's memory to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church or HMC Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, OH 44256.
