(nee Dougherty)
Of Orchard Park, August 16, 2023: Beloved wife of the late Joseph (Harp) O'Brian; Loving mother of Patrick (Beth); Lynn (Joe); Bob (Kathy); Mark (Margaret) and Tom. Devoted grandmother of Aaron, Emmett, Gail, Devin, Ryan, Patrick, Gui Ok, Jeong Hee, Erica, David, Joseph, Laura, Catherine, Jin, Shannon and Camden. Great grandmother of 16. Daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Dougherty. Sister of Vince and the late Ruth Dougherty. Special friend of Fidge, Shirley and Sue. A Mass of Celebration will be held Monday, August 21 at 10 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Church: 26 Thorn Ave, Orchard Park NY. Joan has donated her body through the UB Anatomical Gift Program.

My Deepest Sympathy to the entire O´Brian and Dougherty Family on Joan´s passing. As a neighbor on Lorraine Ave I have great memories of Joan and her beautiful family. Her smile great sense of humor is something that I will always remember. She was a very special person. RIP Joan

I am so sorry to hear about Joan. I worked with her at Buffalo Savings Bank. Just a nice person to be with. We had a great group of ladies in the 70's and Joan, by far, was best!
