I would like everyone to know what a wonderful sister-in-law Joan has been to me and my sisters. The way she lived her life and dealt with MS has been an inspiration. I don't recall her ever complaining about her medical situation and all the procedures she had to endure. Her sunny personality, sense of humor, love of friends and family will surely be missed. We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family when she married out brother 37 years ago. What a legacy she has left for her children and grandchildren. Joan, you will truly be missed!

To Joan's family,
You will not remember me, but I lived with Joan (& Marilyn) in Boston (way back when). She was working at Waltham Hospital at the time, and I can remember being so impressed with her tenacity, and purposefullness in attending to her job. I remember Joan as beautiful, smart, sweet, and an all-around good person. You all are so lucky to have had her as a wife and mother - count your blessings on that priviledge. Remember, the Joan that I knew would want all of you to miss her, and go on to what she wanted for all of you - a happy healthy life. You are in my prayers.
