Age 73. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Ross) Bond; devoted father of Rory (Lyn) Allen and Rebecca (Chris Keroack) Allen; loving grandfather of Rory, Giovanni, Zeta, and June; dearest brother of Michael (Roseann), Kristine (Art) Gazzo, Patrick, Mary Lou (Nick) Francoforte, Steven (Joselynn), and the late Peter (Sandy); also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. John was an avid saxophonist, guitarist, and flutist who played in many local bands including Outer Circle Orchestra, Allen Street Jazz Band and the John Allen Trio. The family will be present Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the (Delaware Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC, 1132 Delaware Ave. (near W. Ferry), where a Funeral Service will follow at 7 PM. Friends invited. Interment held privately. In lieu of flowers, please support local music in John's memory or make Memorials to The Parkinson's Foundation at https://www.parkinson.org.
