To Jack's family, Sorry for your loss of a great man. Jack and I were friends in high school, and he asked me to teach him to drive his Jaguar XKE. A memory I'll never forget. We had great times together, I'm glad he was part of my life. This is all the more reason to keep friends close, spend as much time with them as possible. Greg Oley

From the first time I met
Jack until the last time I saw him in November he always brought a smile to my face. I remember the first time I met Jack. Charlie brought him to my store and he bought a whole pile of parts. He had on a white dress shirt and it was trashed, but it didn't bother him a bit. When I was at Jack's place he always took care of me. He was a wonderful friend and I am going to miss him forever. I will miss all our phone conversations, visits, and trips we took together. Jack was always a man of his word. I will never forget him.

Jacks smile could light up a room.

Jack sure cleaned up nice!

Unbelievable. I never imagined riding without you. Who else could pull up on a Harley wearing bug eyed sunglasses, Bermuda shorts, Norton tee shirt, flip flops, and a sinister smile as if that were normal? So many memories. One of my favorite was our Tuesday evenings at Artpark. You had your own special spot where you could watch the band and the river, both of which made you happy, and gave you peace and comfort, soon for eternity. You, Jack Dash, are a true friend, more like a brother. My condolences to Nancy, all your children, your family, and your huge circle of special friends. Jack, you will always be missed... Always be loved.

When someone looks up the meaning of friendship, Jack's picture should be right there. No matter if it was riding snowmobiles till we fell off, enjoying a shot of Grand Manier at the bar, figuring out what concert to goto next, or just having Jack give me advice, no one will ever top Jack. That smile and how he could always get people to smile around him will never be forgotten.

I was in buffalo last June for a wedding and I tried to visit all of you,but you were'nt home when I stopped by. I also went to Joey's store 2x but he wasn't in. I hope the employees told him that I stopped to see him. What a fabulous store. I was so proud of my young freind and neighbors. I love you all very much, and I think of you all often. Mark Seifert

Dear Dash Families,
Jack and I were best friends during High School. I will always remember him as caring friend, someone you knew you could trust to cover your back and wanted to be there to cover his if needed. He and I stayed pretty much out of trouble, we were more interested in trying to enjoy our teen years. My brother's were troublesome at the time and may have led to our early separation as close friends. I have lived in AZ for many years, and have a wonderful family. I most importantly want to express my feelings of what a fine person and dear friend that Jack had been to me. I have thought about him frequently over the years. To Joe and Frank Jr., I don't know if you remember me, but so sorry for the lose of your Brother.

Dear Frankie, Danielle, Tyler, Josh, Nancy, and the entire Dash Family,
My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Jack meant so much to so many. He had a smile that could light up a room and a heart full of love for all of those he held dear. Jack always accepted people for who they were and loved them regardless of their flaws. Intense & Passionate, Exceptional & Eccentric, Daring & Wild, Selfless & Hopeful, Kind & Compassionate, Strong &, Fearless is how Jack lived his life and this is how I will remember him. It’s agonizing to know that we will no longer see Jacks face or hear his voice here on earth, but the love Jack felt for all of his friends and family will remain like a gentle breeze. We won’t be able to see it but we will always be able to feel it.

You have my Deepest Sympathy,

Please know I share your sorrow and heartache.
In addition to Jack's fondness for classic automobiles and motorcycles, he possessed classic values. Jack was straight-forward, hard-working, generous, compassionate and honorable. His loyalty to family and friends was unflinching.
My daughter, at age 16, was proud to be a part-time cashier at Tops, N. Tonawanda under Jack's watchful care.
Sadly, our paths had not crossed in several years. That lapse in time did not diminish my affection for Jack. His spirit will live in all who knew him. In simple words-Jack was a good guy.

Respectfully, Bill

I worked with Jack at B-Kwik in the late 80's. I was young and this was my first job. Jack was a great boss, but also a friend and mentor. Jack was a very special person to me. At a time when I needed it he took time to share his life stories, experiences and insights. He also listened and offered guidance. Jack's influence guided me to make some positive choices in my life.

Thanks Jack for your friendship and contribution to my life. Also, thanks for being one hell of a fun guy! Even though I haven't seen you in many years I already miss you. Peace
