John DURAND Obituary
DURAND - John W. "Jack" Died peacefully, December 19, 2014, surrounded by loved ones. At his generous request, his body was donated for the advancement of science and his remains were placed at Holy Cross Cemetery. John was born July 3, 1922 in Sharpsburg, PA, to Chester J. and Ann E. (nee Horning) Durand. He is predeceased October 22, 2014, by his loving wife of 54 years Maureen (nee Fahey) Durand; also predeceased by his son Stephen Durand (1996); survivors include daughter Elaine A. Gallagos, stepsons Robert (Patricia) Kenefick, Raymond (Susan) Kenefick, stepdaughter, Bridget (Mark) Ford, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Durand was a US Army veteran.
